A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single steppe.

If you'd like to learn the story of a footstep, seek out the girl pressing them into the grass. An affable nomad with a smile and attitude truly befitting of a tomboy, Izumi has made it her life goal to aggregate as many stories from all walks of life as she can. Mundane or fantastical, nothing disinterests her. She are no grand motives or lofty ambitions in her story - Izumi's sense of curiosity is her sole motivating factor. However, such inquisitiveness oftentimes grants our wandering xaela more than what she's bargained for.

Continued relations with Izumi are a bit of a rarity. A linkpearl is carried, though it's often kept in a pocket and used only when she feels it necessary.
Presently, Izumi does not have anyone notable in her life. Perhaps you'll be the first?
My preferences as an author are primarily geared towards long, episodic story and character-driven roleplay with both physical and interpersonal development. If you want points of reference, think Spice and Wolf, Made in Abyss, and Swiss Family Robinson. Please do not send me a walkup unless we have a prior agreement or I'm using my RP tag at an event.I do not ERP.
- Chronicling of Moons Past -
With her life's goal being to accrue as many stories from all corners of Etheirys as possible, Izumi's worldview and thoughts are well-rounded and based in the mistakes and accomplishments of others.
Sit and listen to her speak of past and future endeavors alike, and perhaps add a tale of your own.- Tread Softly, and Carry an Open Hand -
Izumi is an accomplished martial artist, and her deep understanding of the subject often catches the attention of passersby when it's put into practice. It stands to reason she could make connections from such renowned skill, be it from those seeking training or to compete in a friendly sparring match.- Threading the Needle -
As is expected of survivalists, Izumi took to crafting in many disciplines like a fish to water.
When found in cities, she's often passing trade secrets to other artisans and bringing theirs back out into the field with her. Weaving is her favorite pastime, no doubt due to the tall and fibrous grasses found in her steppe homeland.

If you're not me and you've stumbled across these by accident, these are just Izumi's internal notes I have for her as an author.Izumi is not her original name, and despite being raised by raen she's steppe-born.
Her original name is [igottacomeupwithafirstname] of the Avagnar tribe. She remembers this name and has not heard anyone refer to her by it since she said goodbye to her family. Effectively, nobody but her parents should know it.Her parents pleaded with a small raen family to take her in during her adolescence so that she may live her life freely outside the Adarkim. They agreed with the stipulation that she'd take on raen customs until she was old enough to make a decision to stay or leave.(Come up with pictures of her parents at some point)
